Organize by order flow
The best packing setup follows the order of work: product, protection, package, label, and staging. If supplies are organized only by where they fit, the seller wastes time moving around the room.
Small-space strategy
- Keep labels, tape, and scale on or near the packing surface.
- Store boxes vertically by size where possible.
- Use bins for mailers and smaller supplies.
- Keep one restock shelf for unopened supplies.
- Label supply locations so replacement help is easier.
Track what runs out
A simple restock list is often enough. Track the supplies that stop orders when they run out: labels, tape, the most-used package sizes, and protective material.
