Packing Paper Explained

Packing paper can wrap products, fill voids, and improve presentation, but it should be used deliberately.

Common uses

Packing paper can wrap items, separate surfaces, fill empty space, and create a cleaner unboxing experience. It is often easier to store and recycle than some cushioning materials, but it may not protect every fragile item by itself.

Paper vs cushioning

Paper is useful for light cushioning and void fill. Fragile, heavy, or high-value items may need a stronger packaging plan. The product should not rattle inside the box after packing.

Moisture note

Paper does not like water. If the product is vulnerable to moisture, use an inner sleeve, water-resistant outer package, or other protection strategy.
