When local buying makes sense
Local stores are useful when an order must ship today, when a seller needs to check a box size in person, or when a small quantity is enough. Local pickup can also avoid waiting for a restock shipment.
When online buying makes sense
Online buying usually gives more size choices, more pack quantities, and easier comparison of labels, mailers, and specialized packaging. It can be better for planned restocks rather than emergencies.
Use both deliberately
A practical small seller may keep a local emergency source and an online planned-restock source. The goal is not to be loyal to one source; it is to avoid late shipments and unnecessary supply cost.
